wow. just wow! Apparently Patsy is friends with the Be Good Tanyas and they filmed the video for their fabulous song in various places in and around nola including Patsys lower 9th ward front porch and neighborhood. It is amazing and is making me cry. Patsy is even seen in it, with her dark hair and bangs. Apparently, her house did suffer damage but is fixable and that is one person who *will* be rebuilding.

I just heard from Lara that Adrian and Patsys [along with Adrians girlfriend, Judy Garlic, best name ever!] names showed up on a shelter safe list. Yay for that. I hope all their animals are also safe. To celebrate, I am posting this embroid-istration I did for the last topic, wisdom. I think it can also apply to the Roots topic as well. Why? Well, her ‘thinking cap’ serves as a flying vessel carrying her to her new future, and her beads remind her that her roots are in New Orleans.
